Turn off the main Water supply

A Customer called me frantically:
“First my Bathroom Faucet was only dripping and now the entire bathroom is flooded – HELP!”

Question: Did you turn off the main Water supply?

Customer: “What is that?”
Because I’m local, it took me only a few minutes to drive over to shut off the main water supply. Unfortunately the damage was done, which could have been so easily prevented.
